The Type S is a 3 blade PDC drill bit comprising a cemented carbide body with a drill head geometry as used in the oil and gas industry. They called PDC cutters are inserted directly into the cemented carbide body. The increased caliber of protection is made of hard metal-insertion in the 3 flank of the drill bit. Because of its geometry, this type is particularly suitable for hard and very hard sedimentary rocks such as clay, marl, sand and limestone. Where long life and faster drilling advance can be achieved.
