The STO5 is a 5 blade PDC drill bit consisting of a solid steel body with a drill head geometry as used in the oil and gas industry.
They called PDC cutters are 13mm long inserted directly into the massive one-piece steel body.
The increased caliber protection is made of hard metal-insertion in the 5 flank of the drill bit.
Because of its geometry, this type is particularly suitable for hard and very hard sedimentary rocks such as clay, marl, sand and limestone.
